Atlantic’s Hard Rock Hotel & Casino proclaims $20 Million Capital Investment

Atlantic City’s Hard Rock Hotel & Casino made an announcement this Monday that the resort enterprise will reinvest a minimum of $20 million in property renovations. The reserves allocated for the establishment’s development will venture into the opening up of a new Starbucks outlet, a new dining establishment, added slots and table games in the casino, and renewed beachfront conveniences.

A major part of the investment funds will be allocated towards refurbishing 25 Roxy Suites and 66 Celebrity. The designer Klai Juba Wald from Architecture + Interiors has spruced up the interiors of 91 total suite adding LED lighting and new flatscreen television monitors. This enhancement of suites and rooms of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino presents an attractive luxury experience for Atlantic City vacationists.

In a media release articulating how this investment will help the establishment leverage, Joe Lupo, President of Hard Rock Atlantic City stated, “The commitment of these capital dollars from our ownership proves their devotion to enhancing our guest experience, along with the revitalization of Atlantic City and our property which opened after a $500 million renovation less than three years ago. Our growth over the past year during unprecedented circumstances speaks to guests’ trust in our property and enjoyment of their experiences, which we will continue to evolve and improve.”

Extending consumer-centric conveniences, the new Starbucks outlet will be opening its doors towards the end of May 2021. This Starbucks establishment will be located at an arena with Boardwalk access alongside the Hard Rock Cafe. Adding to the establishments’ upgrades the resort will also reveal a new dining outlet this summer and will announce the details shortly.

In the casino arena, gaming units will be built in the High Limit and Asian areas as a positive response to the pent-up demand of gaming revenue acceleration. The central casino level and cage areas will also be extended with the bonus of slot machines and table games. Due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, headliner entertainment took a back seat. Now with live events reviving, sound enhancements and market-driven programming have been incorporated to Hard Rock Live at the Sound Waves and Etess Arena. Bonus enhancements to Hard Rock Atlantic City will be the resort’s meeting, convention space, and indoor pool.
