Riding the digital wave: How Bitcoin is reshaping the poker landscape
LearnWPT Appoints Stone and Gagliano as Instructors
LearnWPT was developed by the World Poker Tour in 2016. The poker learning site deduced a wide spectrum of users, the majority of whom were experienced players eager to advance beyond fundamental strategies. Despite this, it provided a wide spectrum of education, beginning at the novice level.
Nick Binger was first and, for a time, the only trainer on the location. From play analysis of the WPT hands to “ask the pro” videos that resolved the student’s direct query, he provided a more personal experience of teaching to learnWPT.
As 2021 began, the site brought nine veteran poker experts to the directory of trainers. And in recent weeks, LearnWPT has onboarded Michael Gagliano and Katie Stone, two new experts that are well-known in the New Jersey poker scene.
Binger was part of LearnWPT for several years. She has taught as the website’s lead instructor. His knowledge of in cash games as a tournament player allowed him to educate from a position of comprehensive knowledge of the game’s complexities.
Andrew Lichtenberger, better known as LuckyChewy in the heyday of internet poker, became a part of Binger in the venture years ago. Tony Dunst, a WPT analyst, and a champion, was a natural addition to the squad.
Vanessa Selbst is the world’s top-earning female poker player, but she has also competed as a Team PokerStars member in the world’s most prestigious tournaments. While she is no longer a full-time poker player, she continues to teach the game.
Danielle Anderson and Chris Wallace were also added to the roster. Anderson is a Las Vegas based full-time cash game poker professional, while “Fox” Wallace is a mixed game instructor with years of expertise.
New Jersey experts join the Vegas-based team.
LearnWPT added Michael “Gags30” Gagliano to its roster of instructors. A professional poker player for over 15 years, Gagliano has recently become associated with online poker success in New Jersey, a tiny but important industry.
Gagliano specialized in MTTs and SNGs, collecting more than $6 million in live and online tournament profits over the course of his many years playing the game. He is, however, currently a cash game player that can hop about in stakes in both cash and tournament play.
Katie Stone, who is also a poker player with expertise dating back to the heyday of the poker boom, has officially joined LearnWPT. She also resides in New Jersey and plays live and online poker, specializing in multi-table tournaments.
Gagliano and Stone are members of the partypoker US Network’s Team Pro, which is now focused on poker in New Jersey.
